Cross-country season
2010 is here, and with it a new diary of races. Jan, Feb and March are traditionally months to indulge in a bit of cross-country running. We have had the first two cross-country events, and after a great result in Ware on Jan 17th, we are up to second place in the league table.

There are still two cross-country league races against other local clubs to come (Harlow, Saffron Walden and Ware), as well as the infamous Grizzly race in Devon.

It is also the start of serious marathon training for those doing London or one of the other spring marathons. If you need help with your training schedule, our coaches will be only too willing to help.

             Sunday morning, at the Clubhouse
28th Feb - Newport Cross-country (rescheduled from 10th Jan)
             Club Championship race. No pre-entry required.

7th Mar - Wymondham 20 mile
             Club Championship race
7th Mar - Grizzly, Devon
             Entries closed, but watch Club notices for spare places

Club Championships
We are now into the second year of the Club Championship. Prizes for 2009 will be awarded at the Dinner Dance, 6th Feb. Division tables for 2010 will be available online after the Newport XC.
