Welwyn League Race - Weds 30th June
The fourth league race of the summer season takes place in Welwyn on Weds. This 5 mile race is open to all Club members, and is one of our Club Championship races. We are in with a chance of grabbing 2nd spot in the league, vital to which is a good turnout - so make some plans to come to Welwyn on Weds. Race starts 7:45pm; no entry fee, just pick up a number from our team captains on race night.

League Race at Harlow

Weds 16th June saw 43 of our members take on six other clubs from the region in the 3rd race of the Mid-week Road Running League. Click on photo for higher resolution version.

Despite being under strength in the women's team (finishing 4th rather than the what has become a customary 2nd!), the men's team put in a cracking performance to snatch 2nd place from Harlow. The total of 3+5=8 points put us level with Harlow and Orion on the night. Technically we then finished third based on total score for the evening - but only by one place! Every place really does count!

All to play for at Welwyn. The opportunity for promotion is still there to play for. This final race takes place Weds 30th June, 7.45pm, Welwyn Garden City, and this time it is only 5 miles. Put it in your diary and start arranging a lift share. Watch your email for further details.

We hope you all enjoyed the 10 mile and 10km races on Sunday. Fortunately the weather was not as hot as last year.

Our apologies for the delay - we had hoped that the move to chip timing would make the results generation simpler. However, we became aware of some errors on the day (believed to be mainly on data entry) and are in the process of checking this (alongside peoples day jobs).
